The heart of Nin, its historical center, is situated on an islet of 500 meters in diameter. It is situated in a unique lagoon on the eastern coast of the Adriatic sea, with 8,000 meters of long sandy beaches that have often ben proclaimed as the most beautiful beaches in Croatia (Queen’s Beach, Ždrijac, Prodorica, Zaton Holiday Resort with its blue flag and Bilotinjak). Its particularly convenient strategic location and fertile surroundings have long ago enabled it to become an urban center.
